About Us

Release One was founded in December of 2003. Since that time we have worked in both the intelligence and commercial sectors with companies such as Northrop Grumman, IBM, Lockheed Martin, SAIC, Leidos, CSC, ManTech, The SI Organization, Raytheon, Praxis Engineering and ProObject.

Our founders are software engineers with over 50 years of combined software development experience. The company’s background includes both Rational Software and IBM with their software development services, processes, tool expertise and best practices.

From the outset, Release One’s strategy has been slow, focused growth of one to two employees a year. This regulated growth has allowed us to concentrate on hiring talented, experienced individuals, thereby providing customers with only the highest quality services. The Release One team has an average of 16 years of experience covering the full software development life cycle.

Since our founding, Release One has grown our core competency from configuration and change management (CM) to cover all aspects of software development support. While we remain CM experts, we now provide customers with a broader range of expertise in software consulting and services.
